Why Partner With QDS?
We provide mobile IV sedation services to dental practices throughout South-East Queensland, including Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, the Gold Coast, and surrounding areas. Our mission is to seamlessly integrate with your team, allowing you to concentrate on delivering exceptional treatment while we handle the sedation process.
A friendly, professional sedationist will be present at your practice
We bring hospital-grade monitoring and equipment
Sedation is customised to fit your treatment plan and schedule
Expect clear and friendly communication with both your clinical and admin teams
Our reliable workflows make scheduling straightforward and predictable
We also offer support for patient education and pre-operative preparation
Built by a practising dentist — we read your treatment plan the way you wrote it, anticipate the stimulating stages, and pace the sedation to your workflow
Honest case selection — every referral gets a full pre-admission medical review, and anything outside the safe envelope for in-chair sedation (including most cases beyond 2.5 hours) is flagged early so it can be routed to hospital GA instead
One transparent hourly rate, prepaid and quoted in writing before the day — see our Pricing page.
What We Provide
Sedation Equipment & Monitoring
All sedation equipment is supplied, including IV pumps, oxygen, cannulas, SpO₂, ECG, EtCO₂ and blood pressure monitors, as well as emergency medications and numbing patches.
On-Site Sedation
Patients remain in your clinic at all times. The sedationist administers and maintains sedation, works alongside your team, and manages patient comfort from start to finish.
Medications
Common medications include Midazolam, Fentanyl, Propofol, and additional antibiotics, analgesics or anti-nausea medications when required.
Recovery Monitoring
Patients stay in recovery for 30 minutes while being monitored. The sedationist remains with the patient throughout recovery and coordinates discharge.
