TRANSPARENT FEES

Sedation is booked by the hour and paid before the day — you and your dentist tell us how long the procedure needs, we add 30mins of setup and recovery time and confirm the quote in writing, and the booked hours are prepaid so there are no surprise costs afterwards. Most appointments run one to two hours.

IV sedation — metro South-East Queensland: from $650 per hour.

IV sedation — regional and rural visits: contact us for pricing.

The fee covers everything on the sedation side: your pre-admission medical review, the sedationist and registered nurse on the day, all monitoring equipment and medications, and your supervised recovery. Your dental treatment is billed separately by your dentist as normal. Every case is quoted individually before anything is booked — the exact fee depends on your procedure and situation, and we’ll confirm it in writing ahead of the day.

Procedures expected to run beyond 2.5 hours get extra attention at the pre-admission review. Longer sedations carry more clinical considerations, and for some of these cases general anaesthesia in hospital is the safer choice — if that’s you, we’ll say so and help your dentist arrange it.

Afterpay and Zip are accepted if you’d like to split the cost into instalments — just mention it when booking.

If your plans change, talk to us. We’re a small team and we’re reasonable about it.

*Dental sedation doesn’t attract a Medicare rebate. Some health funds contribute under extras cover — check with your fund, and we’ll give you an itemised receipt.
